Fifteen elephants have died after eating tomatoes laced with cyanide near Amboseli National Park.Kenya Wildlife Service director general Erustus Kanga says preliminary lab tests detected cyanide and officials warn that local livestock may also be at risk.The national government has opened a formal probe, ordered forensic tests, and promised increased patrols to protect tourism and wildlife.
