Eva Edwardsson Orders Betsson to Repay Gambler $450,000

The Svea Court of Appeal ordered two Betsson Group subsidiaries to refund nearly 4.7m kronor to a gambler after finding they used aggressive marketing against a vulnerable individual.Eva Edwardsson determined that NGG Nordic Ltd and BML Group ignored clear signs of the man's severe addiction while offering him VIP bonuses and memberships between 2016 and 2019.The decision follows a 2025 Supreme Court ruling on corporate responsibility and overturns a previous acquittal from the Uppsala District Court.
