Syrian government forces and Kurdish-led units entered a four-day ceasefire after the abandonment of the al-Hol camp and several strategic prisons.President Ahmad al-Sharaa and commander Mazloum Abdi are negotiating the integration of the autonomous Kurdish regions into the unified Syrian state.The USA envoy Tom Barrack is monitoring the transition as concerns grow over the security of thousands of Islamic State affiliates remaining in the region.
