Novel Cancer Drug Daraxonrasib Doubles Survival Times for Advanced Pancreatic Cancer Patients

Researchers announced that the novel drug daraxonrasib significantly increases survival for patients with advanced pancreatic cancer by targeting previously undruggable KRAS proteins.Clinical trial results published in the New England Journal of Medicine showed median survival doubled from 6.7 to 13.2 months compared to chemotherapy.The US Food and Drug Administration is now expediting review and providing expanded access to the treatment.
