Mohamed Bailor Jalloh, a 36-year-old former National Guard member and convicted Islamic State supporter, killed Lieutenant Colonel Brandon Shah and wounded two ROTC students in a shooting at Old Dominion University's Constant Hall.Jalloh, recently released from prison for attempting to support ISIS and still on probation, shouted "Allahu Akbar" before opening fire and was subdued and killed by students.The FBI is investigating the incident as terrorism, confirming the shooter asked if the class was ROTC before opening fire, while also noting the shooter's previous intent to acquire weapons to target US military personnel.Lieutenant Colonel Brandon Shah, a decorated Army veteran and alumnus of Old Dominion University, was praised by Governor Abigail Spanberger and Congresswoman Jen Kiggans for his service and dedication to teaching.
