Organizers report about 25,000 Vespa riders from 67 countries parading through Rome to mark the Vespa's 80th anniversary, while some observers estimate more than 10,000.The gathering displays over 160 Vespa models, includes a free-entry Vespa Village at Stadio dei Marmi and features rare restorations loaned by the Piaggio Museum alongside modern Primavera and GTS scooters.Piaggio executive Davide Zanolini says the Vespa helped revive Italy’s economy after World War II; the brand has sold about 20M units since its 1946 launch and remains popular in more than 110 countries.
