France and Germany have deployed firefighting units to the Netherlands to combat wildfires that erupted across several military training grounds.These fires have destroyed roughly 135 hectares of land, leading Dutch authorities to request assistance via the EU Civil Protection Mechanism.Investigations are currently underway to determine if the military training exercises, which remain ongoing despite the drought, are responsible for starting the blazes.
