Former San Francisco 49ers defensive end Aldon Smith has died at age 36 after spending his final day volunteering for a charity.His friend Amir Shirazi discovered him unresponsive shortly after they delivered food to the homeless in an act of goodwill.Smith had recently sought to mentor young players at his former team facility while working to overcome his past legal troubles.
