Legora Triples Valuation to $5.55B With $550M Raise and US Push

Legora says its valuation has tripled since October to $5.55 billion after closing a $550 million Series D led by Accel, making it Sweden's second-highest valued artificial intelligence company.The Swedish legal AI platform will accelerate US growth with new offices in Chicago and Houston, expanded local hubs beyond New York and Denver, and a plan to exceed 300 US employees by the end of 2026 as firms scale AI across workflows.The round brings together Benchmark, Bessemer Venture Partners, General Catalyst, ICONIQ, Redpoint Ventures and Y Combinator alongside new backers such as Alkeon Capital and Bain Capital, and CEO and cofounder Max Junestrand says customers including White & Case, Cleary Gottlieb and Goodwin now use Legora across some 800 clients in more than 50 markets.
