National Audit Office Report Reveals Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor Profited From Royal Cottage Rentals

A formal audit by the National Audit Office has exposed that Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor earned undisclosed rental income by subletting three cottages located on the Royal Lodge estate. While the former prince resided in the mansion for over two decades under a seventy-five-year lease, he reportedly paid only a nominal peppercorn rent for the property. The report also highlights that King Charles III funds the rental costs for Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie using private income from the Privy Purse. This audit follows the arrest of Mountbatten-Windsor earlier this year amidst ongoing investigations regarding his connections to Jeffrey Epstein.
