Nightclub owners are banning pyrotechnic sparklers following a New Year's Eve fire at Le Constellation bar in Crans-Montana that killed 40 people.The blaze, which injured 116 others, reportedly began when bottle sparklers ignited low-grade soundproofing foam on the ceiling of the Swiss venue.Jon Davine issued a warning to Massachusetts businesses that unlicensed use of these devices is illegal as establishments transition to LED alternatives.
