Jean-Noël Barrot initiated an administrative investigation and notified prosecutors after files from the USA Department of Justice revealed extensive ties between Fabrice Aidan and Jeffrey Epstein.Fabrice Aidan allegedly provided Jeffrey Epstein with diplomatic intelligence and services between 2010 and 2017 while also facing historical FBI allegations regarding child abuse material.The scandal has prompted the resignations of Jack Lang and Caroline Lang following the repatriation of the diplomat from the United Nations in New York by Gérard Araud.
