Federal authorities have arrested Shamim Mafi in Los Angeles for allegedly brokering a 70 million dollar illicit arms deal between Iran and Sudan.The suspect is accused of using an Oman-registered front company to supply drones and munitions to the Sudanese Ministry of Defense during its civil war.Mafi now faces federal charges for violating international sanctions and arms trafficking laws while operating from her residence in California.
