A stolen turnstile intended for Görlitzer Park in Berlin-Kreuzberg has been recovered from the Landwehr Canal after being taken by unknown individuals last week.The turnstile was discovered by workers from the Senate Department for Mobility, Transport, Climate Protection, and the Environment and retrieved on Tuesday.The police are investigating both thefts due to suspected political motivation as local initiatives continue to oppose the overall fencing project expected to be completed by December.
