Kermit Gosnell has died at age 85 while serving multiple life sentences for murdering infants born alive at his West Philadelphia clinic.The Department of Corrections confirmed his death occurred at a hospital outside the prison where he was incarcerated since his 2013 conviction.Investigations into his practice, nicknamed the house of horrors, revealed he killed infants by severing their spines and maintained unsanitary conditions.The case also included convictions for illegal drug distribution by the
DOJ and exposed a 15-year failure in state clinic inspections.
