Laura Dern to Star as Julie K. Brown in Sony Scripted Series on Jeffrey Epstein's Investigation

Laura Dern will star as investigative journalist Julie K. Brown in a new Sony Pictures Television limited series based on the sex trafficking investigation into Jeffrey Epstein.The scripted project adapts the book Perversion of Justice to chronicle how reporting for the Miami Herald exposed a secret plea deal and identified eighty victims.Producer Adam McKay and writer Sharon Hoffman will detail the events leading to the arrests of Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell following years of legal scrutiny.
