Sergei Udaltsov received a six-year prison sentence on Thursday for justifying terrorism after posting an article supporting other activists.The verdict follows a separate 20-year sentence in absentia for Swedish citizen Christopher Forsbäck who was convicted of terrorism linked to a Ukrainian incursion into the Kursk region.Both Udaltsov and Forsbäck dismissed the charges as politically motivated while Russian authorities continue to intensify the suppression of dissent since the invasion of Ukraine.
