Johannes Klaebo set a new record for the most gold medals in a single Winter Olympics after winning his sixth title of the games in the 50-kilometer cross-country marathon.The USA reached a historic milestone by securing 11 gold medals, the highest count ever for the delegation, following a victory by Kaila Kuhn, Connor Curran, and Chris Lillis in mixed team aerials.Alysa Liu added to the record-breaking day by winning the first gold medal for an American woman in figure skating in 24 years.The Norwegian sweep in the marathon event was completed by Martin Løwstrøm Nyenget and Emil Iversen who took silver and bronze.
