NVIDIA Unveils Blueprints to Modernize Retail

NVIDIA this week unveiled two open-source blueprints, the Multi-Agent Intelligent Warehouse and the Retail Catalog Enrichment Blueprint, to accelerate AI across retail and will showcase them next week at the National Retail Federation Retail’s Big Show following European startups pitching robotics and IoT at CES.Tarik Hammadou said, "Building with these blueprints will reduce the cost of integration and help our customers and partners enable applications fast," and described MAIW as a synchronized, agentic AI layer above IT and OT that coordinates equipment, operations and safety compliance while offering a central warehouse operational assistant with role-based access control and guardrails.The Retail Catalog Enrichment Blueprint uses generative models including NVIDIA Nemotron to create localized titles, descriptions, normalized attributes, 2D lifestyle images and interactive 3D assets with an AI judge, and partners such as Kinetic Vision and Grid Dynamics are already building catalog and warehouse solutions that can integrate with robots like Factorial Robotics' Shapid AGV shown at CES.
