Six People Die Following Avalanches and Accidents in Austrian Alps

Six people died in the Austrian Alps after a series of avalanches and skiing accidents struck the regions of Tyrol and Vorarlberg.Anton Mattle reported that over 200 avalanches occurred within a week as fresh snowfall reached 1.5 meters in some areas.The fatalities included victims from the USA, Poland, Germany, Austria, and Switzerland who were skiing off-piste when the incidents occurred.
