Louise Lasser dies at 87 in her Manhattan home, reportedly of natural causes, her friend Susan Charlotte tells The New York Times.She rose to national attention as the title actor in the syndicated series “Mary Hartman, Mary Hartman,” which ran more than 325 episodes and earned her an Emmy nomination in 1976.Ms. Lasser began her screen career in Woody Allen films, understudied Barbra Streisand on Broadway and won a Clio for an orange juice commercial before moving into television.She continued to act and to teach in
