Trump is deploying the USS Abraham Lincoln to the Middle East while warning of military intervention following a lethal crackdown on Iranian protesters.The deployment comes as the USA imposes new sanctions on Iranian officials after weeks of unrest left thousands dead and led to mass arrests.Although protests over economic grievances have started to weaken, the Institute for the Study of War reports that the security mobilization in Iran is likely unsustainable.
