Catherine, Princess of Wales, completes the National Three Peaks Challenge within 24 hours to raise funds for a new holistic wellbeing and recovery centre at The Royal Marsden.She was diagnosed with cancer in March 2024, received chemotherapy at The Royal Marsden and is in remission since January 2025; she uses the trek to press for emotional, psychological and spiritual support alongside clinical treatment.The 23-mile route contains more than 3,000 meters of ascent, required about 462 miles of driving between peaks, was supported by
Mountain Rescue and finished with her family joining at the end, making her the first royal to complete the challenge.
