Rahmanullah Lakanwal is hospitalized at George Washington University Hospital after refusing food and sometimes water in pretrial detention, and his condition is rapidly deteriorating.A federal judge, Amit P. Mehta, authorized prosecutors to review sealed medical records from the last 24 hours after the US Marshal Service raised concerns and prosecutors say Lakanwal was taken to the hospital at midnight following a sudden decline.Lakanwal faces nine charges including first-degree armed premeditated murder in an ambush last fall that killed Army National Guard Spc.
