Copa Airlines to Restart Caracas Flights After Maduro Capture

Copa Airlines will restart flights to and from Caracas on Tuesday, January 13 after operational conditions in Maiquetía airspace improved following a U.S. military operation that led to the capture of Nicolás Maduro and Cilia Flores last week.The carrier said in a statement that it will resume daily services to Caracas after earlier suspensions and a temporary halt to Maracaibo when La Chinita International Airport was closed until January 6.Colombian President Gustavo Petro told El País that Delcy Rodriguez is expected to visit Bogotá for talks in the coming weeks and that she asked for two weeks to assess conditions at home, Reuters reported.
