Delcy Rodríguez Frees 80 Prisoners Following Maduro's Capture

Venezuelan authorities released 80 political prisoners as part of a 379-person amnesty following the capture of Nicolás Maduro by USA forces in January.Interim President Delcy Rodríguez and National Assembly leader Jorge Rodríguez announced that 1,557 people have applied for freedom under the new legislation.While releases began at the El Helicoide facility, the organization Foro Penal warned that approximately 400 detainees might be excluded from this judicial process.
