Kristi Noem appointed Charles Wall as deputy director of ICE following the resignation of Madison Sheahan on Thursday.Madison Sheahan, a Trump ally, left the agency to challenge 43-year incumbent Marcy Kaptur for a congressional seat in Ohio.The transition occurs after a period of increased deportations and the highest number of custody deaths within ICE since 2004.
