Archaeologists in Paris are uncovering two millennia of historical artifacts during a major excavation beneath the Notre Dame cathedral forecourt.Findings include a fourth-century coin and diverse medieval relics as researchers examine layers spanning from Roman Lutetia to the Middle Ages.This project coincides with a municipal plan to renovate the plaza into a climate-resilient space by 2028.
