Fadel Z is sentenced in Celle to six years and six months after a court finds he was a member of Hezbollah and procured drone components used in attacks.Prosecutors say Fadel Z placed roughly €1.4m of orders, used front companies to buy thousands of petrol and electric motors, propellers and bearing housings from suppliers in Europe, China and the USA, and shipped parts via Hamburg, Spain and air freight to Lebanon.Fragments of his components were found in a drone that struck a nursing home in Herzliya; he partly confessed, has two young children, remains in preventive detention on grounds of membership and flight risk, will bear trial costs and has one week to decide whether to appeal.
