Montenegrin Police, FBI Arrest Iranian-Turkish Suspect in $3.4B US Hacking Campaign for Extradition

Montenegrin police, working with the FBI, arrest a 39-year-old Iranian-Turkish dual citizen, A. B., in Kotor on a US request and detain him for extradition.He is wanted by the Southern District of New York on charges including conspiracy to commit computer fraud, hacking, identity theft and organized crime after attacks that prosecutors say caused $3.4B in damage.Authorities say the campaign since 2013 targeted more than 150 US universities and that stolen data benefited the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps and Iranian academic institutions; A.
