Artemis II Astronauts Near Moon to Observe Lunar Far Side Vistas and Test Orion Pilot Systems

The NASA Artemis II crew has reached a pivotal stage in their 10-day journey, entering the Moon's sphere of influence.Mission commander Reid Wiseman and specialists Christina Koch and Jeremy Hansen are now 346,000 kilometers from Earth.The astronauts captured high-resolution images of the Orientale Basin, a massive impact crater on the lunar far side.
