Air China Resumes Pyongyang Flights as North Korea Slowly Reopens Borders for Chinese Travelers

Air China has resumed its weekly direct flights between Beijing and Pyongyang for the first time in six years following the closure of borders during the pandemic.The restoration of air travel follows the recent return of passenger rail services between the two capitals which restarted mid-March after a lengthy hiatus.While entry remains restricted to workers and students, the return of the national carrier highlights strengthening ties between Kim Jong Un and Beijing.
