Printemps to Cut 229 Jobs and Close Rennes Store Following a Significant Retail Market Slowdown

Printemps has announced a major reorganization involving the elimination of 229 positions and the closure of its Rennes store.Management attributed the restructuring to a retail slowdown in France and competition from fast fashion, affecting 8 percent of the staff.While the owner Divine Investments SA maintains sites in Doha and the USA, the group will modify 17 roles and create 91 new positions.
