Rescuers Scour South Sulawesi Mountains After ATR 42-500 Plane Crash

Rescuers are searching Mount Bulusaraung in South Sulawesi after an Indonesia Air Transport plane carrying 11 people vanished from radar on Saturday.Sakti Wahyu Trenggono confirmed that three Ministry of Marine Affairs and Fisheries staff members were on board the ATR 42-500 aircraft during a surveillance mission.Approximately 400 personnel are conducting the operation as specialists from ATR join the investigation following reports of an explosion near Maros.
