Thomas Cazenave took the Bordeaux mayoralty from the Greens as Laurent Cathala won a ninth term in Creteil and Sophie Pascal-Lericq secured Arcueil.Cazenave representing the Renaissance party defeated incumbent Pierre Hurmic with 50.95 percent of the vote following the withdrawal of a key third-party candidate.While Cathala retained his long-held position with 50.65 percent, Pascal-Lericq kept Arcueil as an ecologist bastion by overcoming centrist and communist rivals.
