High Court Rules Palestine Action Terror Ban Unlawful

The High Court in London ruled that the British government decision to ban Palestine Action as a terrorist organization was unlawful and disproportionate.Home Secretary Shabana Mahmood announced an appeal against the judgment, which found the 2025 proscription violated freedom of speech and assembly rights protected under the EU.Following the ruling, the Metropolitan Police will stop immediate arrests of supporters after approximately 3,000 people were detained during the eight-month ban.
