EU-India Finalize Historic Trade Deal to Counter Trump Tariffs and China

EU and India finalized a historic free trade agreement in New Delhi to establish a zone covering two billion people and offset the impact of aggressive USA tariffs.The deal will eliminate duties on nearly 97% of European exports while India reduces car tariffs to 10% and wine duties to 20% over the next several years.Leaders Narendra Modi and Ursula von der Leyen also established a strategic framework for defense and security cooperation to reduce economic reliance on China.
