Netflix will begin streaming video podcast episodes after reaching a licensing deal with iHeartMedia that adds more than 15 shows to its U.S. service and will remove full video episodes from YouTube. The agreement makes new video episodes available to subscribers in early 2026 and gives Netflix a curated library of archival video episodes while iHeartMedia keeps audio-only rights and continues audio distribution via iHeartRadio and other podcast platforms; financial terms were not disclosed. The deal covers programs such as "My Favorite Murder", "The Breakfast Club" and "Dear Chelsea", follows similar arrangements Netflix has struck with The Ringer and Spotify, and drew comment from Jenn Powers, Lauren Smith and Bob Pittman about the partnership and its role in competing with YouTube and other streamers.
