The Carabinieri of the Compagnia Castel Gandolfo carried out extraordinary checks in the Castelli Romani area, inspecting nearly 50 vehicles and 82 people and reporting nine to the Judicial Authority for driving while intoxicated or after taking illicit substances.The operation produced the administrative fine of a 19-year-old for a blood-alcohol level above the zero threshold for newly licensed drivers, the withdrawal of nine licences, the deduction of 95 penalty points and the seizure of almost 13 grams of hashish and marijuana, with seven people reported to the Prefecture as drug users.The checks follow earlier
