Civil rights icon Jesse Jackson Sr. died Tuesday at age 84 following a battle with a rare neurological disorder as his children gathered in Chicago to honor his legacy.The former presidential candidate and close associate of Martin Luther King Jr. famously championed the mantra "I am Somebody" and inspired leaders including Barack Obama and Kamala Harris.Funeral services are scheduled for next week at the Rainbow/PUSH Coalition headquarters to celebrate his decades of activism for global human rights and equality.
