Pedro Sánchez has promised a transparent investigation into the causes of a high-speed rail collision near Adamuz that killed at least 40 people on Sunday.The crash occurred after the rear carriages of an Iryo train derailed and struck an oncoming Renfe service, leaving 150 injured and 43 currently hospitalized.While authorities examine a potential broken rail joint as the cause, high-speed services between Madrid and southern Spain will remain suspended until February 2.
