Donald Trump announced that Hamas will disarm and hand over power to a technocratic government after Israel acknowledged that the Gaza death toll has reached approximately 71,000 people.The conclusion of the first ceasefire phase followed the recovery of the remains of Ran Gvili, the final Israeli hostage, and the subsequent return of 15 Palestinian bodies via the Red Cross.While the Rafah crossing is set to reopen for civilians, the United Nations estimates that the reconstruction of the Gaza Strip will cost more than $50 billion.
