Juha Marttila was sentenced to 18 years in prison for the murder and desecration of the grave of Annelie Eriksson Nevborn following a trial at the Örebro District Court.The court determined that Juha Marttila strangled the victim in their Grythyttan home in December 2024 before dumping her body in a nearby lake.Alongside the prison term, he was ordered to pay 390,000 kr in damages to the family after forensic evidence and mobile logs linked him to the crime.
