Philip Glass Pulls Lincoln Symphony From Trump-Led Kennedy Center

Philip Glass withdrew the world premiere of his Symphony No. 15 "Lincoln" from the Kennedy Center after the venue came under the leadership of Trump.The renowned composer stated that the message of the symphony conflicts with the current values of the institution which Trump has unofficially renamed after himself.This decision follows similar withdrawals by Renée Fleming and the Washington National Opera after a period of declining ticket sales at the cultural hub.
