Asha Sharma Replaces Phil Spencer as Microsoft Gaming CEO

Asha Sharma has been appointed as the new CEO of Microsoft Gaming following the retirement of Phil Spencer after a 38-year career.The leadership overhaul comes as Xbox revenue fell 10% in the December quarter despite the recent acquisition of Activision Blizzard King.Sarah Bond, the president of Xbox, is also resigning from the company during this significant management transition.Matt Booty will serve as the new Chief Content Officer reporting to Asha Sharma to help stabilize the gaming division.
