Mexican authorities confirmed the death of Nemesio Oseguera Cervantes during a tactical military operation in the state of Jalisco.The fugitive led the Jalisco New Generation Cartel and carried a $15M bounty from the DOJ for international drug trafficking.Gunmen responded to his death with a wave of violence including road blockades and a prison break in Puerto Vallarta.Governor Pablo Lemus Navarro declared a state of emergency as Air Canada and Delta Air Lines canceled flights to the region.
