Elon Musk's Tesla Keeps California Licenses After Dropping Autopilot

Tesla will avoid a thirty-day suspension of its California licenses after Elon Musk's company agreed to stop using the term "Autopilot" in state marketing following a December ruling on misleading claims.This settlement allows the automaker to continue operations in its largest market in the USA while it faces additional scrutiny from the SEC and federal safety regulators.The resolution comes as a Florida jury recently awarded over $200M to the family of Naibel Benavides and to Dillon Angulo following a fatal Model S crash in Key Largo.
