Emine Demirbüken-Wegner, district mayor of Reinickendorf, launched Berlin's first document dispensing box at the Eichborndamm citizen's office. The box allows residents to pick up and return identity cards and passports without an appointment, and a similar service will soon be introduced in Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg to expand across Berlin.
