Ibrahim Traoré Dissolves All Political Parties in Burkina Faso

Ibrahim Traoré and the military junta have dissolved all political parties in Burkina Faso following a government decree approved on Thursday.Authorities justified the decision by claiming that political organizations created division among citizens and hindered national unity.The state will now seize all assets belonging to the dissolved parties as part of a continued crackdown on civil liberties since the 2022 coup.
