Yemen's Houthi rebels and the internationally recognized government have reached a landmark agreement to release 2,900 detainees following 12 days of UN-brokered talks in Oman.The deal involves the release of 1,700 Houthi prisoners in exchange for 1,200 government-aligned detainees, including seven Saudi nationals and 23 Sudanese individuals.Hans Grundberg hailed the accord as a significant step toward de-escalating the civil war that has claimed over 377,000 lives since 2014.
